Come to the Land
Although these are true study tours, they are unlike any school experience you've ever had. Joan is fond of saying, "Learning from the Biblical Resources guide/teachers is like eating an ice cream cone."  
No previous knowledge of the Bible is required, yet any level of prior Bible experience will be profoundly expanded and enhanced by the informed visits to historically significant sites as well as by the connections made with today's Middle East.

Is it SAFE to travel in the Middle East?
With its complications, enchantment, and long history, the Middle East is a sparkling tourist attraction. Be assured that your safety is carefully guarded by both the Israeli and Palestinian governments and responsible, knowledgeable tour guides. If safety is an issue for you, we unhesitatingly make this suggestion: Contact any tourist agency in the world and ask to speak with any traveler who has recently visited Israel. We are completely confident the traveler will affirm they felt safe throughout their tour.

Of course there are tensions, and there are occasional outrageous incidents of terrorism such as the Oklahoma City and World Trade Center bombings. But you will not hear of gang wars, drive-by shootings, kidnappings, school yard massacres, widespread crime and profound disrespect for family and authorities.

Instead, you'll see a confidence that permits people to stroll, even in the evenings and after dark in either the Israeli or Palestinian sectors; that allows parents to let their children play outside their homes or even send them - unaccompanied - to the park to play; to let the youngsters walk alone to school. (Is it safe anymore to live this way in the United States?)
