The Joan Times

The Joan Times

Joan's randomly occasional newsletter is packed with adventure, surprise, insights, stories and future plans, though if you follow along you'll see that such "plans" often evolve in entirely new directions.

All archived newsletters are in PDF format. Click any link below to open, print or download. If you have any problems opening the file, you might need to install the latest version of Adobe® Acrobat® Reader™. Click here to download directly from Adobe's website, then follow the instructions.

Gathered here are all the newsletters issued since the first one was published in 1984. Follow the mystery, trust, courage, and stamina that have guided this unusual journey. The last Joan Times was published in 2001. However, three years later, after tentatively "settling down for a year or so," Joan began writing a regular column for a local weekly newspaper, The Sonoma Valley Sun. All these years later, she still resides in beautiful Sonoma, California, still cranking out words that - as one reader put it - "bring peace, balance and controversy to Sonoma "   Click here to read a column or two.
