Throughout 1997, Joan enjoyed guiding tour groups through the archeologically accurate outdoor Bible Museum, and teaching at authentic first century Passover meals at the Biblical Resources Study Center in Jerusalem. An internationally known author and lecturer, Joan has lived and worked in China, Haiti, Israel and in locations across the United States. These experiences occurred after her first 50 years in South Bend, Indiana, raising a large family and moving gradually from PTA volunteer to successful business person. She would tell you that the great adventure in her life evolved after she had learned to embrace the Yes, to trust God, and to depend on the Holy Spirit. Her faith has led her to thrills and spills, and she's always curious about where she'll serve in the next episode. |
